Japanese wood sculptor, Haroshi creates three-dimensional pieces from used and broken skateboard decks. He goes through thousands of old decks and individually picks out the perfect boards to use. After they are stacked, cut and shaved to form, they are painted and polished to a smooth finish. Shown here is his 3D rendition of Jim Philips’s “Screaming Hand”.
