Now I know we are getting old; MTV is celebrating it’s 30th birthday. A lot has changed since the rebellious station first hit the air in 1981. They invented the music video, but no longer air them. The Real World revolutionized television forever with “reality TV”, now it is just a constant barrage of crack that you can’t even tell what is scripted anymore.
