I finally got to check out Patrick Trefz’s book Thread. I enjoyed his 16mm film that shares the same title and not surprisingly I really enjoyed the book. It can be hard to make shooting wave sliders look different, but Trefz excels at capturing those interesting fleeting moments and unique perspectives on surfing and its characters.
