Directing duo Canada teamed up with Partizan and Vice to create a short film for 55DSL to capture the essence of Italy and its culture – a lofty goal, especially in short form. A young naive couple embarks on a journey, looking for a lost boot (perhaps a lost Italy) and what do they find? Outside of a bunch of old movies, some of my favorite restaurants and knowing a couple footballers’ names, I realized I’m no authority on Italian culture…but there’s a pretty girl and beautiful imagery.
