For surfers in the Caribbean and Florida, Sandy has been a lifetime swell event. For those of us in the tri-state area Sandy has been absolutely devastating. In parts of coastal New Jersey and Long Island it has washed away or destroyed entire communities. In Manhattan most everyone below 34th St sits in the dark.
